Roma must return to the market to strengthen the flanks after losing Celik, who joined Juventus on a free transfer when his renewal with the Giallorossi seemed all but done. The capital club now needs to identify two wingers and is considering several profiles.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma has accelerated talks for Dodo, who was already contacted about a month ago. Fiorentina values the Brazilian at more than 15 million euros and the player’s interest is high, as is that of Gasp, who would welcome the winger with open arms to add a Brazilian touch to the Giallorossi flanks.

Among the profiles being considered, the name of Carlos Augusto remains a hot topic, as versatile as Celik: he can play on the left wing, but also fill a slot in defense. Alternatives include Molina, El Ouahdi, Oosterwolde, and the young Culbreath.
