Lucumí remains a target, but only under one specific condition

Inter keeps its interest alive in Jhon Lucumí, the Colombian defender from Bologna whose contract expires in 2027. The player has already informed the Rossoblù club that he does not want to renew and is waiting for a new destination.

With the €28 million release clause expiring on July 15, Bologna would now be willing to negotiate for a figure around €15 million. As reported by Quotidiano Sportivo, in addition to the Nerazzurri, Juventus is also interested, but neither club has yet made a decisive move.

For Inter, the deal would only become concrete if the departure of Benjamin Pavard were to materialize. The scenario appears complicated due to the high salary of the Frenchman, which makes it difficult to find a destination.

In the meantime, the Nerazzurri management is focusing its energies on strengthening the right flank. At the top of the list of preferences is Djed Spence from Tottenham, for whom next week could prove decisive with a meeting between the clubs. The deal could be closed for around €35 million.

Among the alternatives is also Alberto Costa, a former Juventus full-back now at Porto, considered as an option to complete the defensive flanks.
