After the stinging defeat in the derby and the day off given by Simone Inzaghi to the players, training will resume today at Appiano Gentile. The focus is on Saturday’s away game against Udinese, but of course, there will also be discussion about what went wrong on Sunday evening, when Inter deservedly lost against Milan.
Inzaghi will do so with the team, but the same will also happen between the Nerazzurri management and the coach. As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, all the operational executives will be at La Pinetina: the president and sports CEO Giuseppe Marotta, the sports director Piero Ausilio, his deputy Dario Baccin and the vice-president Javier Zanetti.
It will be a necessary confrontation to analyze what happened in the derby, but without dramatizing the events. However, there will be an opportunity to focus on the results of this early season and also on Inzaghi’s management. And the main theme will be especially the turnover: the executives are convinced to have built a deep squad to be competitive both in Italy and in Europe by rotating the players. At the moment, however, Inter seems to pay double duty, as shown by the two draws and the defeat recorded in a week against Monza, Manchester City and Milan.
