On the eve of the away match against Feyenoord, Thuram spoke to Sky Sport microphones, charting the course to get out of this difficult moment: starting again united, as a team, one for another.

“How do we start again? As a team, united, one for another. That’s how you start again,” declared the Nerazzurri striker. On the internal discussion that took place among the players, Marcus was direct: “We said things to each other’s faces as you do in a family and in a team, we are ready to start again.”

Regarding his own form, he answered without hesitation: “I feel great, I am very happy to be able to play every match.”

There was also ample space for analysis of the opponent. The atmosphere at Feyenoord, according to Thuram, represents a variable not to be underestimated: “The atmosphere is very intense, they push their team, they approach matches very strongly. I remember that two years ago they had 5 shots in 10 minutes, it will be a match like that.” The striker then indicated the tactical key to the match: “We need to be united, as a team, and know that the first moments of the match are risky and we must make sure it doesn’t happen again.”
