Now just a few hours away from the close of the transfer market, set for 8:00 PM on Monday, September 1st, Inter finds itself defining what could be the last deal of this summer window. The Nerazzurri club, in fact, finally reached an agreement yesterday for the permanent transfer of Mehdi Taremi to Olympiacos and is awaiting the final details before the official announcement.

Despite the departure of the Iranian striker being unlocked, no further arrivals are expected in the attacking department, also due to the limited time available. Likewise, according to Corriere dello Sport, it seems unlikely that Tomas Palacios will leave. According to the newspaper, “after rejecting Santos, it is likely he will remain with the squad until January.”

Inter could therefore close its incoming transfer market without any more moves, possibly postponing further signings—only narrowly missed in this session—to next winter. Even so, as the transfer market teaches us, anything can happen between now and the final bell of this session, and sensational twists are certainly not ruled out.
