With the Palestra and Khalaili options fading, Inter has resumed its search for a new right winger who can inherit the legacy of Denzel Dumfries. The name that is gaining the most support these days is Djed Spence, born in 2000 and owned by Tottenham.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Cristian Chivu likes him, also because the Englishman can play on both flanks, a useful element to confirm how the coach and the transfer team are always in sync regarding their objectives.

For his part, Spence would not be at all displeased to return to Italy. Tottenham values him at no less than 35 million, a figure 10 million higher than the amount for which Inter had closed the Khalaili deal, which then fell through during the medicals.

This figure has not scared the Nerazzurri, who have started talks with the Spurs. Contacts are ongoing.
