A draw that leaves both teams satisfied. At the Olimpico, Roma and Inter share the spoils with a 2-2 result that reflects the flow of the match: the Giallorossi dominated the first half, while the Nerazzurri controlled the second. The result rewards the spectacle offered by the two teams at the top of the table at the start of this championship.

Roma started strong and Koné opened the scoring in the 6th minute and doubled the lead in the 37th, sending the Giallorossi into the break at 2-0. Chivu‘s team, however, once again showed character and the ability to react.

In the second half, Inter changed face. Lautaro Martinez immediately pulled one back in the 46th minute and equalized in the 79th with a successful shot assisted by Bisseck, after Svilar had performed a miracle save on Thuram and the post had denied the Nerazzurri a goal. The Nerazzurri captain thus matched Koné‘s brace and brought the score back to level.

In the final minutes, Inter created more chances to complete the comeback. Thuram came close to scoring several times, but Svilar and the Giallorossi defense held firm. Massa blew the final whistle at 2-2 after three minutes of added time. Both teams go home with a point each and the certainty of having delivered a high-level contest.
