It has been a season to remember so far for Federico Dimarco, who seems to have found the right motivation again with the arrival of Cristian Chivu on the bench. The Inter winger, who last season did not always maintain a consistent level of play, has earned the total trust of the Romanian coach and is repaying him with outstanding performances.
Last night, in the 2-0 win against Lazio, Dimarco provided the assist for the second goal scored by Bonny: the winger delivered a perfect left-footed pass from the left, cutting through the entire Lazio defense and allowing the Frenchman to score the easiest of goals just a few steps from the goal line.
With last night’s assist, Federico Dimarco has now recorded his fourth successful assist in this Serie A season: no defender in the Italian league has done better, on par with Emil Holm, who has the same number of successful passes as the Inter player. Impressive numbers also for Alessandro Bastoni, who has reached three assists after the one for Lautaro Martinez.
