This morning in Milan on the stage of the Football Business Forum, organized by Bocconi, Beppe Marotta was also present. The president of Inter spoke about the future of the city from the point of view of facilities for the world of football, with attention obviously focused on the future San Siro stadium.

Marotta confirmed that the goal would be to have it ready and usable for the European Championships that will take place in 2032, that is, in less than seven years. These are the words of Inter’s number one, collected by colleagues from TMW:

“This signing is a first step, but not the first stone. The deed was signed at 12 and an hour later the Milan Prosecutor’s Office had opened a file. This is Italy. It took the perseverance of the city administration and Mayor Sala, our ownership and Dr. Ralph, from Milan with President Scaroni, and I hope this first step will lead us to a new stadium within five years to include the new stadium in the list for Euro 2032. In the last 15 years, only three stadiums have been modernized in Italy, we are at the bottom of the list in Europe. The main reason is not money, but bureaucratic slowness.”
