Tonight’s game will be a special one for Simone Inzaghi for several reasons. The Nerazzurri coach knows that he didn’t start off on the right foot in the league and he doesn’t want to miss the opportunity to overtake Juventus and Napoli in the standings with just one victory.
After the incredible performance against Manchester City last Wednesday on the road, the coach expects to see the same level of attention and meticulousness from his players. As seen several times in recent big matches, therefore, his Inter could start off full throttle in the early minutes to try to set the game downhill right away.
On a personal level, moreover, this derby could definitively introduce Inzaghi into the history of Inter-Milan. After the six consecutive victories in the last encounters, the Nerazzurri coach would become the first coach to reach such a milestone with the seventh success. No coach and no club has ever managed to establish a winning streak so long before.
