Among the options considered by Inter for their offensive department, aside from the profiles of Santiago Castro and Nikola Krstovic, since yesterday Lorenzo Lucca has also joined the race. The Udinese striker has already reached double-digit goals this Serie A season and has caught the attention of the big Italian clubs.
Among these clubs is also Inter, which has requested information about Lucca in view of next summer. This rumor was confirmed this morning by the current edition of Corriere dello Sport, which provided additional details concerning the forward born in 2000. At this point, Inter faces competition from Napoli, who also represent their main Scudetto rival for Inzaghi’s team.
The initial valuation set by Udinese for the Italian striker’s transfer is around 30 million euros, a sum which both Inter and Napoli will try to reduce. Napoli could exploit the longstanding friendship between presidents De Laurentiis and Pozzo, who have completed numerous market deals together over the years. Inter, on the other hand, will seek to include players as part-exchange by proposing young prospects who could be valued highly at Udinese, a strategy historically appreciated by the Friulian club.
