It’s not only Nico Paz on Inter’s wishlist for next summer’s transfer market. While it’s true that the Argentine playmaker currently at Como is among the Nerazzurri’s primary objectives, he certainly isn’t the only talent the directors have closely observed in recent months.
A first alternative, should negotiations with Real Madrid—who hold three buy-back clauses on the class of 2004 player—encounter difficulties, is represented by the Turkish talent Arda Guler. In this scenario as well, just like with Nico Paz, dialogue with Los Blancos will be needed to better understand the feasibility of any possible deal.
According to what Tuttosport reported this morning, what’s certain is that Inter will finally have a considerable budget to work with, noting that more than 120 million euros will come from Champions League and World Cup revenues, although not all of this amount will be invested directly into the market. Hence, the club is also thinking about adding an important striker such as Santiago Castro, with Lucca and Krstovic identified as alternative options to the Argentine.
Further movements could also occur in other departments, starting with defense, where Hien and Beukema remain favoured targets. In midfield, besides Nico Paz, Samuele Ricci from Torino is also attracting interest. Additionally, it’s worth remembering that Inter has already secured a first reinforcement in midfield by reserving Croatian talent Petar Sucic last January.
