Inter‘s midfield moves for next summer should not end with Petar Sucic, the Croatian midfielder already secured for June. The Nerazzurri club, in fact, is planning to bring at least one more addition to Simone Inzaghi‘s midfield. Meanwhile, for outgoing moves, the names Davide Frattesi and Kristjan Asllani remain strongly rumored for departures.
The first two targets being tracked by Inter are Nico Paz and Samuele Ricci, though both profiles come with significant obstacles. In the case of the Argentine attacking midfielder, the main challenge will be convincing Real Madrid, given the pressure exerted by Como on the Spanish club to keep the player for another season. Regarding the Torino midfielder, on the other hand, President Cairo‘s valuation between 35 and 40 million euros poses a substantial obstacle.
An alternative with lower cost, but very much appreciated by Simone Inzaghi, according to Calciomercato.com, is Giovanni Fabbian. The Bologna midfielder is still tied to Inter, which retains a buy-back clause of 12 million euros exercisable until summer 2025. His return to the Nerazzurri, particularly attractive to Oaktree due to his young age, could provide added physicality and extra goal-scoring contribution from midfielders.
