A few days ago, the summer transfer window officially closed in Italy. A window that saw Inter in particular, executing two major free transfers – Zielinski and Taremi – and the definitive purchase from Genoa of Josep Martinez.
The market was finally rounded off by the addition of the very young Tomas Palacios, who arrived just a few hours before the close of the session. In the ratings made this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport, an excellent 7.5 was given to Inter, the second highest rating in the Italian league behind only Juventus with 8. This is because, in addition to the excellent moves made, the black and blue club managed to retain all of its top players.
Furthermore, three main factors were highlighted that Inter decided to focus on: experience, youth, and potential. Despite the high-quality market, however, a special note was given to the Black and Blues for the arrival of Taremi. La Gazzetta, regarding the Iranian center forward, reported a behind-the-scenes of his first few weeks at Appiano Gentile: “Taremi has already enchanted Inzaghi and the entire staff. Zielinski is still all to be discovered, but experience is not under discussion.”
