During the summer, Inter‘s market dream for more than a month was that Ademola Lookman whom the Nerazzurri management officially requested from Atalanta, but the Bergamo club was not interested – despite the player’s insistence – and never opened up to a negotiation to complete the deal.
As a result, many names emerged as possible alternatives for Chivu‘s attack, including excellent players such as Openda, Enciso, Adeyemi, and even Nkunku. The latter is currently at the center of another market negotiation with another major rival club of Inter, namely Milan.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea is negotiating directly with Milan for the permanent transfer of Nkunku, who would thus have the opportunity to test himself in Serie A after also being linked to Inter. Max Allegri‘s Rossoneri club has chosen to focus on the Frenchman after the collapse of the Harder deal with Sporting.
