Federico Dimarco left Coverciano last Monday after a consultation with the Nerazzurri medical staff, who approved the player’s early return to Milan. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, since then the winger has reported to Appiano Gentile to follow a personalized training program, with the aim of returning as soon as possible to be available for Chivu.
The training center will remain formally closed until next Monday, but not for players undergoing physical recovery. In addition to Dimarco, Calhanoglu was also seen yesterday, while today the Italian is expected again along with Spence, whose recovery is now in an advanced stage. The English winger will join the group that stayed in Milan as early as next week.
The other Englishman, Stones, is also about to return. The break is providing several players with the opportunity to work on regaining optimal condition.
