Diaby, offer of 18 million plus Pavard: the incentive from Al-Ittihad is needed

Inter is ready to make an offer for Moussa Diaby. According to Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri club would be willing to put about 18 million euros plus the card of Benjamin Pavard on the table to convince Al-Ittihad to let go of the French winger. The French defender, considered expendable to make room in the squad for the Argentine Romero, is valued between 12 and 15 million, but would have to accept the Saudi destination.

In recent days, contacts between the parties have been resumed, but the operation remains complicated. Diaby currently earns 15 million net per season plus bonuses, an amount considered out of reach for any Italian club. To make the transfer to Milan possible, an incentive to leave from the Jeddah club or a significant financial sacrifice from the player would be needed.

There is also an alternative solution involving Asllani: the intermediary handling the Albanian’s transfer is the same authorized to negotiate the Frenchman’s departure. On the winger front, Michael Kayode has also been proposed, but Inter considers the player too defensive for Chivu‘s needs, in addition to the cost considered excessive at around 40 million.
