Fiorentina will have to rely on character and determination to snatch points at San Siro: this is the analysis of Colonnese, former Inter defender, speaking to Radio FirenzeViola.
“Playing against Inter is not easy, especially at home where they are a steamroller,” said the former Nerazzurri. “In front of their fans, they manage to have a special focus even when they fall behind. Chivu has many alternatives, his team is solid. So it’s clear that Fiorentina have fewer chances, even more so because they are playing away.”
According to Colonnese, the technical gap between the two teams is already evident just by looking at their performances at the start of the season. For the Viola, therefore, the mental factor could prove decisive in trying to bring home at least a useful result.
