Calhanoglu may return early, Lautaro and Thuram will be the last to join the group

After the first training session, the Nerazzurri group gets into the heart of the German training camp with a double session scheduled. Chivu is working with the players who did not take part in the World Cup and with several young players who have joined the first team, while the group will be gradually completed in the coming weeks.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, among the top players, the first to join his teammates could be Hakan Calhanoglu. Turkey was eliminated already in the group stage of the World Cup and the midfielder could therefore return early and join the team before the end of the training camp.

The last day of work in Germany is set for July 26, when the Nerazzurri will face Karlsruher at 4:30 pm at the BBBank Wildpark. It will still take some time to see the squad almost complete: Sucic and Bonny should join for the first part of the following tour, while Akanji could be available directly for the stop in Australia.

It will take longer for Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram. The Nerazzurri captain is involved in the World Cup final between Argentina and Spain, while the French striker will play the third-place final against England. Both should return about ten days before the start of the league, leaving only a short window to work with the entire group before the official debut.
