Hakan Calhanoglu spoke to the microphones of Sky Sport immediately before the kick-off of the match between Real Madrid and Inter at the Bernabéu. The Turkish midfielder emphasized the importance of concentration and quality to face the European champions.

“When quality is needed, maximum concentration is required. We know that Real is strong, they have individual strength but we also have quality. Let’s see how we attack together, we will need to run and stay united. Maximum concentration,” declared Calhanoglu.

The Nerazzurri midfielder then reiterated the team’s objectives: “We want to do better than last year, we are thinking about starting well.” Finally, he recalled the mentality that characterized last season’s European campaign: “We brought out everything we had. We never gave up until the last minute, and this year we want to show even more that this is the right mentality.”
