Although he only arrived last summer, one of the ‘new’ faces at Inter could suddenly leave during the upcoming January transfer window. Two days before the return to the pitch scheduled for the early match against Roma at the Olimpico, here is the news that risks catching especially Cristian Chivu off guard.

According to Calciomercato.it, Aleksandar Kolarov, the current assistant coach, could be saying goodbye to Inter for the second time. The former Serbian footballer, who returned in the summer as Chivu’s assistant, has reportedly caught the attention of Red Star for the possible succession of current coach Vladan Milojevic.

The Serb, in turn, has caught the eye of the Football Federation and seems to be the frontrunner for the Serbia bench. Should Milojevic accept the offer from the federation, at that point the doors of Red Star would open wide for Kolarov. For the Inter man, it would be a great opportunity as head coach, really hard to refuse despite his ties to Inter.
