Inter has submitted an official offer to Hajduk for the purchase of Branimir Mlacic.
According to Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri have put about 5 million euros on the table to secure the young defender, born in 2007, on a permanent basis. In recent days, the two clubs had already reached a general agreement on the valuation of the player.
The intention of the Milan club is to close the deal immediately, but to leave Mlacic on loan at the Split team for the rest of the season. This solution would allow the youngster to continue playing regularly, a fundamental aspect for his development. The defender is currently a starter for Hajduk, who are fighting for the title against Dinamo Zagreb, and for this reason he does not seem willing to move right away.
The negotiation, however, is not yet concluded, but at the moment neither Olympique Marseille, nor Barcelona and Atletico Madrid—the clubs that were monitoring the player—have taken concrete steps and therefore seem to be out of the running.
