The demands of Tottenham represent a significant obstacle for Inter‘s plans in the transfer market. According to Sky Sport, the Nerazzurri are following Djed Spence with interest, the Spurs full-back who is making a name for himself at the World Cup with England, but the financial valuations of the London club do not match those of Milan.

Inter would like to invest an amount between 25 and 30 million euros to secure the defender, but Tottenham are indicating otherwise: the English club is asking for a higher sum. The Nerazzurri, however, remain interested and intend to try to start negotiations to bring Spence to Milan.

The path leading to Cristian Romero appears even more complicated. The Argentine, who is highly regarded by Inter’s management, has a price tag exceeding 50 million euros and earns a salary of 6.5 million per season. Figures that make the operation prohibitive for the Nerazzurri club’s financial capabilities.

The club is nonetheless continuing to monitor both situations, hoping to find room for maneuver for at least one of the two targets coming from London.
