A few days before the Italian derby scheduled for Sunday, October 27 at 6:00 pm, Inter has set a new goal from Juventus. Inter president Beppe Marotta is reportedly the one pushing for this, wanting to recruit someone with whom he has old ties from Juventus.

As confirmed this morning by the Corriere dello Sport, Roma seems to be very close to Inter’s CEO Corporate, Alessandro Antonello. The Inter executive is highly appreciated by the Friedkin family and may soon be appointed the new CEO for the yellow-and-red team.

In return, however, Marotta is reportedly pushing to bring Francesco Calvo into management. The current Managing Director of Revenue & Football Development for Juventus has already worked for seven years with the Inter president while at Juventus and has already made a first contact.

On the sidelines of the Lega Assembly this morning, where Calvo was present along with Marotta, the Juventus executive commented on the rumored potential move to Inter: It’s not worth commenting, there’s nothing to it. Marotta? I saw him at the Assembly, that’s all.
