The scorer of the goal that sealed Champions League qualification in the away match in Verona, El Shaarawy will be available on a free transfer in just over a month and, according to Calciomercato.it, the Nerazzurri management is considering his profile as a possible replacement for Darmian, naturally with more offensive characteristics, to be used as a backup on both flanks or as an attacking midfielder/winger in a 3-4-2-1 formation.
Ten years and 348 matches in the Giallorossi shirt for the player who also played for Milan, and who is now also of interest to Genoa and Venezia and is aiming to secure a two-year contract with an option. It remains to be seen whether Inter’s inquiry will turn into something more concrete in the coming days.
