According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Josep Martinez will be the starting goalkeeper for Inter in 2026/2027. The Spaniard, who arrived from Genoa in 2024, has climbed the ranks this season and has now convinced the management to entrust him with the Inter goal after Sommer.
However, he will be joined by a more experienced competitor, also to raise the level of internal competition. A profile to keep an eye on, according to the newspaper, could be Kepa, another Spaniard who has just won the Premier League as a reserve with Arsenal. De Gea from Fiorentina and especially Provedel from Lazio have also been linked.
