Petar Sucic has attracted the attention of the Premier League. The Inter midfielder had an excellent World Cup with Croatia and a positive first season with the Nerazzurri, with performance peaks especially at the beginning and end of the year.
According to Corriere dello Sport, this has fueled the interest of English clubs. In particular, Newcastle and Leeds have made inquiries, suggesting a valuation between 35 and 40 million euros for the player.
Inter’s response was clear: no opening. The Nerazzurri club has the utmost confidence in the Croatian and Cristian Chivu is convinced that there is still plenty of room for growth and that next season he can make a further leap in quality.
In a midfield that includes veterans like Hakan Calhanoglu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Sucic at 23 years old represents the future. There is no talk of a sale, unless an irresistible offer arrives.
