The trail leading to Djed Spence for the right flank of Inter is gradually cooling down. Matteo Moretto, a transfer market expert, provided an update on the situation during an appearance on Fabrizio Romano‘s YouTube channel.

According to Moretto, the player’s valuation has changed after his excellent performances at the World Cup, with the costs of the deal rising beyond initial expectations. “The costs have changed because Spence had a great World Cup and now they are higher. It’s true that he was a name discussed by Inter, he was on the list,” explained the transfer market expert.

The Nerazzurri management had indeed considered the profile of the winger, but the increase in the financial demands has made the deal more complicated to complete. “As of today, it is gradually moving further and further away because it is a complicated operation. Romero is the number one target, so I would be much cooler on Spence,” concluded Moretto.
