The Argentine center-back Cristian Romero has become Inter‘s top target in the transfer market. Tottenham has opened up to a sale and the Nerazzurri management is accelerating, relying on a decisive factor: the player’s will.
According to Mediaset, there have been direct contacts between the defender’s entourage and the Nerazzurri executives. The player is pushing hard to secure the transfer and is said to have received assurances from the English club about the possibility of changing teams.
The Spurs value the center-back at around 50 million euros, a figure that represents a starting point. However, the pressure exerted by Romero could help close the deal on more favorable terms, with a possible agreement between 35 and 40 million euros. The player’s will is a decisive factor in the negotiation.
The arrival of the Argentine defender would further increase the technical level and experience of Inter’s backline, strengthening an already competitive defensive line.
