The Cristian Romero operation has moved away for Inter. According to Sky Sport, the costs of the deal are too high and the trail has cooled, while the Nerazzurri club is preparing to welcome John Stones in defense.
The position of Benjamin Pavard still needs to be evaluated, currently an alternative in the defensive package available to Cristian Chivu. The Frenchman is coming off a loan season at Marseille that did not leave its mark. If he stays, the defensive department would be complete; if he leaves, a slot would open up to be filled.
