Inter accelerates for Cristian Romero and aims to further reduce the financial demands of Tottenham. The Argentine center-back has become the top target of the Nerazzurri’s transfer market at this stage, partly due to the difficulty in securing a high-level right winger.
According to Sportitalia, there is optimism about the possibility of lowering the amount compared to the 50 million initially requested by the Spurs for the 28-year-old defender. During the day, there was talk of a range between 35 and 40 million as a possible target to reach.
The parties will have to meet again to try to reduce the gap and reach a figure sustainable for the Nerazzurri’s finances. The Inter management remains confident about the successful outcome of the deal.
