Roma accelerates in the transfer market and reopens contacts for Malick Fofana, who has also been followed by Inter in recent weeks. The player is represented by Roc Nations, the same agency that manages the interests of Luis Henrique, another Roma target who is still on standby.
According to Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, the capital club is holding in-depth talks with Fofana‘s agents. The possible arrival of the player, who would join the now imminent signing of Rodrigo Mora, would make it very difficult to pursue Luis Henrique.
“Roma is talking with Malick Fofana’s agents: it is clear that if, in addition to Mora, the Giallorossi were to also sign Fofana, these would be two sensational moves and it would become difficult to go after Luis Henrique, who for now remains a situation to keep on standby,” explained the two transfer market experts.
The situation remains fluid, with Mora now very close to moving to the capital. As for Luis Henrique, despite concrete interest, a final agreement between the parties is still missing. “Mora is the closest player, then there is Fofana, for whom Roma is having in-depth contacts. For Luis Henrique, who has the same agents as Fofana, the agreement is still missing. If the Giallorossi wanted to sign him at all costs, they would, but at the moment the agreement is still missing,” concluded Romano and Moretto.
The transfer market dynamics linked to Roc Nations could therefore influence Roma’s final choices in this closing phase of the summer window.
