The arrival of Andy Robertson at Tottenham could complicate Inter‘s transfer plans. The Scottish full-back, who became a free agent after leaving Liverpool, has accepted the Spurs’ offer and is now available to Roberto De Zerbi.
The signing of a player with Robertson’s experience and quality changes the hierarchy within the London squad. In particular, the space for Djed Spence could be further reduced: the winger, followed by the Nerazzurri, already has to compete with the presence of Pedro Porro and Udogie.
The new Spurs signing strengthens the wide options available to the Italian coach. For Inter, who are monitoring Spence’s situation, the internal competition at Tottenham represents an additional obstacle in the negotiation.
