The desire of Ivan Perisic to return to Inter is becoming increasingly concrete. For weeks, the Croatian has been offering himself to the Nerazzurri, confirming an interest that had already emerged during the January transfer window. The player would like to wear the Inter shirt again, the club with which he experienced important years of his career.

According to the Dutch newspaper ED, however, PSV has no intention of facilitating the deal. The Eindhoven club is still counting on the former Bayern Munich winger, despite the arrival of Kostic. Perisic is tied to PSV by a contract valid until the end of the 2026/2027 season, and the club wants the agreement to be respected.

The possibility of a free transfer therefore seems unlikely. On the contrary, in the event of a sale, PSV intends to collect “several million euros.” A financial demand that complicates the plans of Inter and any other interested clubs.

There is an additional detail in the agreement between the Croatian and PSV: a special clause inserted in the contract reduces the cost of the deal exclusively for Barcelona. The Blaugrana could therefore purchase Perisic on more favorable terms than the competition, although at the moment this appears to be an unlikely scenario.
