Valentin Carboni might return to wearing the Inter jersey sooner than expected. The talented Argentine playmaker, who returned to Milan earlier than scheduled from his loan spell at Marseille due to a serious cruciate ligament injury, is about to be available once again for coach Simone Inzaghi.

As we anticipated last February, the rules allow Inter to immediately deploy Valentin Carboni. As a result, as noted on the official website of the Lega Serie A and the Nerazzurri club, the player born in 2005 has already been assigned squad number 45—previously used during his earlier spells with the club—and can now be available for selection by Simone Inzaghi.

Of course, we still have to wait a few weeks before Carboni will return to the bench, as he continues a challenging rehabilitation from his injury. Regarding this, from next month onward, the Argentine is expected to step up his training sessions with the goal of being fully ready for competitive action by May. Apart from giving a helping hand to Inzaghi in the final phases of the domestic championship, Carboni will certainly represent an additional asset for the FIFA Club World Cup scheduled to take place between June and July.
