Despite the current focus being entirely on achieving objectives on the pitch until the end of this season, at Inter they are already planning early moves in preparation for the coming summer. The Nerazzurri club has already secured Petar Sucic for next summer’s Club World Cup and would also like to add Luis Henrique from Marseille to Simone Inzaghi‘s squad.

After an exhausting season both physically and mentally, Inter aims to arrive at the Club World Cup with an even stronger squad and some fresh faces from the transfer market. Another talent who might join the squad for the upcoming competition in the U.S. is Aleksandar Stankovic, a midfielder who, following in his father Dejan’s footsteps, is showing impressive progress.

Loaned out to Luzern at the beginning of the season, the young midfielder hasn’t missed a single match, collecting an impressive 34 appearances and scoring 3 goals. The latest one came yesterday in the league against Young Boys: a masterful free kick from the class of 2005 talent that inevitably recalled his father’s remarkable technique.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Inter has already received various inquiries regarding next season from clubs in Italy and elsewhere. In addition to Spezia and Venezia, who both wish to sign him on loan, there has also been an offer from Stuttgart. At the moment, the Nerazzurri club isn’t rushing their decision and might decide to include young Stankovic in their squad for the upcoming Club World Cup.

Later on, much will depend on decisions made by the club during the transfer window: with the arrival of Sucic, Simone Inzaghi would have seven midfielders at his disposal. Thus, without any departures, it seems unlikely that Aleksandar Stankovic will be immediately promoted to the first team next season, and he will most likely return on loan once again.
