Speaking this morning on Radio Anch’io Sport, Beppe Marotta did not limit himself to confirming the advanced negotiations over Simone Inzaghi‘s contract renewal. The Inter president, for instance, also did not deny recent market links between the Nerazzurri and Isaksen, Lazio’s highly talented winger.
Here are his remarks regarding the forward: Us interested in Isaksen? Ours is the most prolific attacking line. If I recall correctly, we’ve failed to score only in one match. Inzaghi’s style fits very well with a team built around offensive drive. Isaksen? He is a good player, but every day the media links us with one player or another. Certainly, we already have Lautaro-Thuram, the best attacking partnership in Italy and of a very high European profile. Later on we’ll define our plans with directors Ausilio and Baccin. We’ll consider what the market has to offer, as well as many other factors, always with a view toward building a competitive squad that can achieve the goals we’ve set.
