Union Saint-Gilloise can no longer oppose the will of Anan Khalaili. The Israeli winger has officially asked the Belgian club to be transferred to Inter, respecting his wish and avoiding complications. After being left out of Sunday’s friendly against Steaua, the player has clearly expressed his intention to move to the Nerazzurri.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Belgian club will eventually grant the player’s request. The deal is not yet finalized and an agreement between the clubs has not been reached, but the gap has narrowed. At the moment, the Nerazzurri’s offer still does not reach the 25 million requested, compared to an initial valuation of 30.

The turning point could come with a proposal that guarantees 25 million as a fixed part plus some additional bonuses. The parties are close and the hope is to close the deal within this week, so that Khalaili can be among those called up for the training camp scheduled for next Monday.

The Nerazzurri club is pushing to complete the deal as soon as possible, buoyed by the player’s desire, who has already chosen Milan as his next destination.
