Inter monitors Anguissa, situation stalled with Napoli

Inter is closely following the contractual situation of Zambo Anguissa, midfielder for Napoli, whose contract expires in June 2027. According to Tuttosport, at Viale della Liberazione they are monitoring the developments of the renewal negotiations between the Neapolitan club and the player’s entourage, which are currently stalled with no apparent room for an agreement.

In the coming months, the Nerazzurri management will weigh the pros and cons of a possible offer, should the Cameroonian part ways with Napoli in 2027. Sporting director Giovanni Manna, before the match in Florence, did not seem particularly optimistic. The good old free transfer, which some believed had been definitively abandoned from Inter’s transfer strategies until the signing of John Stones, could make a comeback.

Anguissa, born in 1995, would bring physicality, pace, and experience to an already diverse and high-quality midfield. The Nerazzurri’s interest in the player is nothing new: according to AreaNapoli.it, last May Inter made an inquiry with Napoli specifically for the midfielder, before decisively turning to Curtis Jones. On that occasion, the response from the Neapolitan club was negative.
