Iddrissou rejects Cologne: Inter focuses on the young striker

Inter has decided to keep Jamal Iddrissou, a young striker born in 2007 who is considered an important asset for the future. According to Corriere della Sera, the Nerazzurri club has rejected several offers from Germany, particularly from Cologne.

The Germans had put almost one million euros on the table for a loan with an option to buy set at seven million. An economically significant proposal, but it was turned down by the Nerazzurri management, who consider the young striker fundamental to their future plans.

Iddrissou will be a key player for the new Under 23 team, after making his debut in the squad last season. The club’s intention is to develop him internally rather than loan him out.

Other moves concern Cristian Carrara, a striker born in 2008, Italian champion with the Under 18s and already on the scoresheet in the Primavera, who has signed his first professional contract. Currently in training camp with the Under 23s, he will most likely be one of the mainstays of Bigica‘s Under 20 team. On the way out, however, is 2010-born Saverio Vanacore, who is set to join Sampdoria.
