The future of Matteo Darmian could still continue in Serie A. The defender, born in 1989, after being released by Inter, has expressed the desire to remain in the top Italian league and, according to Sky Sport, is considering the possibility of a return to Torino.

For Darmian, it would be a return to the Granata after 11 years. The full-back arrived at Torino in 2011 from Palermo, soon becoming a key player for the team. His performances earned him, in 2015, a call from Manchester United under Van Gaal.

After his English experience, Darmian had a brief spell at Parma before joining Inter, where he ended his last adventure with the Nerazzurri. Now Torino is reportedly considering bringing him back home.
