According to Fabrizio Romano, Matteo Darmian has reached an agreement with Bologna. The former Inter defender, without a contract since last July, has chosen the rossoblù club to relaunch his career in Serie A.
The agreement provides for a contract until June 2027, with the possibility of extension for an additional season until 2028. In recent days, Darmian has trained with the Emilian team, allowing the technical staff to assess his physical condition after months spent without a team.
The schedule immediately offers a special encounter: on October 17, the match between Bologna and Inter is scheduled. The winger could therefore find himself facing his former team at the very first opportunity.
