The journalist Mimmo Cugini, speaking to the microphones of TMW Radio, analyzed the transfer operations of the Serie A teams. Among the topics discussed were the arrival of Stones at Inter and the prospects of Pio Esposito.
“Who is convincing me the most? I would say Juve, the last two signings are important, they are the best acquired from a technical point of view. Alajbegovic could be the market’s surprise,” declared Cugini. “Milan signed Gila, which is an excellent move, I have some doubts about Ramos, who played little at PSG. Meanwhile, Inter signed Stones, an experienced player who joins an already strong defensive unit.”
The journalist then praised Fiorentina: “I like them, I watched the match against Real, as indicative as it may be, but you can already see Grosso’s football philosophy. And the new players moved well. There is still a lot to do, especially for those who have to chase Inter, but after a very soft start, things are starting to move. By now we move at the last minute to save money, but something is happening. However, there is a strong focus on quality. I don’t forget Como, who are doing a lot.”
Finally, a comment on Pio Esposito: “I expect further growth. Besides his excellent skills, I also believe he is a very intelligent boy, who has understood what Inter is and the responsibilities when he steps onto the pitch. It’s not hard to see why he is already an idol, his passion shows his attachment. Unless there are sensational offers, I see him as Inter’s and the National Team’s striker for the next ten years potentially. He is one of those who climbs the steps one at a time.”
