Carlos Augusto towards renewal, Inter wants to secure him

The two performances against Napoli and Real Madrid have accelerated Inter‘s plans regarding Carlos Augusto. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Brazilian has proven his reliability in both roles: as a third defender and as a fifth midfielder.

Last Saturday against the Azzurri he provided the assist for Dimarco‘s goal, and on Tuesday at the Bernabeu he outpaced his former teammate Dumfries on Lautaro‘s pass and scored the goal. Two important responses that have strengthened the management’s intentions.

The club’s position is clear: Baccin and the technical staff want to secure the player through a contract renewal and adjustment, with the current deal expiring in 2028. The operation also includes a financial improvement to reward the former Monza player.
