The hopes of Inter fans to see Ademola Lookman wear their jersey next season have been growing again for a few hours. The Nigerian striker has in fact publicly stated that he wants to leave Atalanta but that the Bergamo club is denying his transfer to the Nerazzurri of Chivu.
The reaction of the Atalanta fans was not long in coming because they understandably did not welcome this stance from their number 11. In Bergamo, in fact, a banner appeared from the Bergamaschi supporters that reads: “Enough! Unworthy agents and ungrateful players, respect the fans and those who have valued you”.
As highlighted by today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, this is a total break between the Bergamo crowd and Lookman. Such a clash was not even seen last year with the Koopmeiners case, who, to force his transfer to Juventus, did not show up for training thanks to medical certificates for stress.
