In the meeting that took place yesterday in Viale della Liberazione between Cristian Chivu and the Nerazzurri management, not only were the transfer market and technical planning discussed, but also contract renewals. On the table was the situation of Stefan de Vrij, for whom the possibility of an additional year at reduced terms remains concrete, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan could decide to postpone his retirement from football if the club chooses to offer him a new one-year extension. At the center of the discussion, reports Libero, were also the dossiers related to Yann Bisseck and Carlos Augusto. The German defender, currently under contract until 2029, has recently changed agent, now relying on Branchini Associati, while the Brazilian winger is tied to the Nerazzurri until 2028. According to the newspaper:
“The two players who in recent months have rejected every renewal approach from the management. Refusals that could mean many things, most likely, first and foremost, that the agents of the two players will be able to bring concrete offers to the club. At least this is the impression the management has, which in any case will have to be ready in the event of major salary demands, even though for now the two situations are not a concern, since the contracts of Bisseck and Carlos Augusto expire in 2028” (2029 for Bisseck, ed.).
