The journalist Fabrizio Biasin analyzed the dynamics of the Inter transfer market during Cronache Mondiali, expressing a critical point of view on the communication surrounding summer negotiations. His words concerned several names linked to the Nerazzurri in recent weeks.
“Romero is he really that popular? Of course he is, certainly he is. I like him, my cousin likes him, my uncle likes him, he costs 50 million,” the journalist began, emphasizing how the appreciation for the defender is widespread but the negotiation is complex. “Why get stuck in these negotiations that in the end lead nowhere? After all, a lot of things are also done by communicators. I’m not writing anything about Romero. Of course we like Romero, but don’t write anything because at the moment there’s nothing. Maybe in August we’ll see.”
Biasin then pointed the finger at what he calls a race for unfounded scoops. “With this kind of communication, there’s a rush to say, Romero-Inter negotiations ongoing, and so illusions are created that are just illusions. I understand perfectly how things work.”
The discussion also extended to the Spence case, now a missed target for the flank. “Of course we liked Spence. But it’s one thing to say, good evening, we like Spence, how much does he cost? Forty. It’s another thing to say, they’re working on it, it’s almost done for Spence, because it’s not true, it’s not like that. Unfortunately, you may like certain players, but going to get them right now in the Premier is not easy.”
The closing was dedicated to the timing of the market. “Last days of July, we’re all at a standstill, we’re all at a standstill. Because then, as has happened in the last X years, in August there’s another market, where due to some kind of domino effect you might even land the super player, but you have to wait,” concluded the journalist.
