An offer could be arriving in the next few hours that would disrupt Inter‘s plans in the transfer market. In fact, this morning, a last-minute attempt was made at the Viale della Liberazione offices regarding Davide Frattesi. The Nerazzurri club received a new inquiry based on a deal worth no less than 40 million euros.
As reported by Sky Sport, in recent hours it was Newcastle that came back strongly for Davide Frattesi. While waiting for an official offer, the English club proposed a loan with an obligation to buy, but under conditions that are not so easy to meet. For this reason, Inter immediately expressed its negative opinion on the formula, reiterating that the transfer fee is around 40 million euros.
To get the green light from the Nerazzurri, therefore, Newcastle will have to review the conditions of the obligation to buy, which must be easy to achieve in order to give Inter the certainty that the option will be exercised within a year. Time is running out with just a few days left before the transfer window closes, and a quick counteroffer will be needed to possibly give Chivu‘s team the chance to return to the market.
