The 2026-2027 season began with a full stadium. San Siro welcomed the Inter Italian champions on the first day of Serie A with a response worthy of a great team: 75,013 spectators filled the stands for the 6:30 pm match against Monza.
The figure was announced at the end of the first half. Of these, 1,015 fans were present in the away section. Despite the still summery date of August 22, the Nerazzurri supporters responded en masse to the call, even giving up a few days of vacation.
Already a week before kick-off, the Milanese stadium had sold out. The stands were sold out and the only remaining option was the resale of tickets among season ticket holders. The first home game of the new season thus turned into a crowd bath for the reigning Italian champions.
