According to Tuttosport, Dario Baccin will have to manage three crucial contract renewals in the coming months. The Nerazzurri executive, promoted to the role of sporting director on September 2, will have to deal with the contract extensions of Federico Dimarco, Carlos Augusto and Hakan Calhanoglu, all key players in Chivu‘s lineup.

The Turin-based newspaper speaks of a hot autumn on the contract front. Baccin was aware from the moment of his promotion that he would face intense months dedicated to the renewal issue. The three players are fundamental pieces for the coach and their stay depends on the definition of the new agreements.

During the summer, the executive had already completed important deals together with Ausilio. On July 29, the contract of Yann Bisseck was extended until 2031, securing the German who was being followed by Bayern Munich. On September 1, Ausilio‘s last day of work, Pio Esposito signed his renewal until 2032, which was then made official on September 6. For the latter, Inter had rejected several inquiries from the Premier League at the start of the summer.

In addition to these, during the summer the extension for one season of Henrikh Mkhitaryan was also completed. Now the focus shifts to the three autumn renewals awaiting the new Nerazzurri sporting director.
